What are Mind-Movement Sessions?

A one-to-one Mind-Movement session provides an opportunity to explore any physical or emotional symptoms to improve your wellbeing. As a practice, the Mind-Movement sessions allow you to turn your attention inwards. Away from the noise of your mind, turning your attention to what your body can teach you. A Mind-Movement session will provide space to discuss what's been challenging for you and I will encourage you to connect to your body with gentle movement. I believe in the approach of using sessions to help you build self-care into your life. Once you have established the foundations of self-care; the sessions will encourage you to compassionately connect to your body, and mind.

 How I can be there for you

I know how challenging it can be to reach out for support. I would like to make the process as easy as possible for you. I offer a free initial consultation where we can discuss some of the things that have been difficult for you and see how I can support you. If our sessions don't feel like the right fit for you, I will assist you in finding another suitable option for support. The most important thing is that you find the support you are looking for.

FAQ's

I've never done yoga, is that okay?

Absolutely, there is no need to have tried yoga before. The sessions will develop your yoga practice, through inviting a deeper connection to your body and exploring gentle movement in yoga postures

What's your availability for sessions?

I currently have availability Monday-Friday, between hours 9am-5pm, however sometimes I can accommodate outside of these times. I recommend getting in touch for an initial free consultation where we can discuss your needs, availability and when we can start sessions together

How many sessions will I need?

Unfortunately, there isn't a clear answer to this. It totally depends on what you are hoping to gain from sessions. However anywhere between 6-20 sessions can be a useful guidance. We will work together to review this as sessions progress. Sessions are currently being offered online via Zoom and are £60 per hour

Do I need any equipment for sessions?

Not at all, one of the advantages of having sessions online is having your home comforts around you. The most important thing is that you are comfortable, so wear loose clothing, grab a blanket and cup of tea, and anything else you need to feel supported
